Maximizing output for 18F, 64Cu, and 68Ga

IBA Nirta® liquid targets deliver high power with the lowest enriched water consumption available on the market. Their wide range of volumes ensure your production capacity always matches your needs, achieving up to 4 Ci/ml in a 2-hour run.

Nirta® Helium Cooling Free targets provide an additional productivity boost, achieving up to 20% higher yield per run. Their design also enhances safety, as no activated parts remain on the cyclotron, and maintenance is reduced by half. In addition, operational costs are optimized, using up to 50% less enriched water. IBA also provides a patented solution1 to produce 68Ga, offering clear technical advantages: no long-lived 68Ge in the final dose, a simple and cost-effective (c)GMP process comparable to 18F production, short irradiation times, no dissolution delay, and reduced hot cell space requirements.

Efficient large-batch production of radiometals and halogen radioisotopes 

IBA Nirta® solid targets are irradiation systems designed to support the production of a wide range of nonconventional radioisotopes, such as 68Ga, 64Cu, 89Zr, 124I and many others.
 

The solid target (up to 150µA) is engineered for large-batch production. Its high-end technology enables fully automated back-and-forth transfer of the target capsule, with no human intervention and without any access to the bunker. It is available with three types of capsules with different slanting angles: 90°, 35°, and 10°, ensuring optimal flexibility for diverse applications.
