"The Cyclone® KEY is designed to expand access to PET radioisotopes while simplifying installation, operation, and maintenance, with a strong focus on minimizing total cost of ownership. The system enables safe, user-friendly operation and can accommodate up to three targets 18F, 13N or 11C (gas), supporting applications in oncology as well neurology and cardiology. As the most compact cyclotron in the IBA RadioPharma Solutions portfolio, the Cyclone® KEY can be installed in either a conventional concrete vault or a self-shielded configuration, making it suitable for a wide range of clinical environments."

    Unveiling of the Cyclone® KEY at Arab Health

    IBA Launches Compact Low-Energy Cyclotron, Cyclone® KEY, new accelerator provides increased access to diagnosis solutions and enables in-house production of radiopharmaceuticals.
     

    24 January 2022 - IBA the world leader in particle accelerator technology and the leading provider of radiopharmaceuticals production solutions, today announces that it has launched a new low energy and compact size cyclotron, the Cyclone® KEY. The new machine will enable small and medium sized hospitals to produce their own radiopharmaceutical products in-house, whilst providing more widespread global access to diagnostic solutions in oncology, neurology and cardiology. The Cyclone® KEY was showcased on Monday 24 January 2022 during Arab Health 2022, an annual meeting in Dubai, UAE.
