In111Indium 111

Indium-111is a radioisotope used in single photon computed tomography (SPECT). It has a half-life of 67 hours. It is mainly used for prostate cancer, neuroendocrine tumours, non Hodgkin Lymphoma imaging.

To produce Indium 111,
we recommend this production route:

    Target:

    Nirta® Solid target 30 MeV

Enriched cadmium is electro deposited onto copper target in IBA Solid target station.

IBA provides only the irradiation station equipment.

    Chemistry:

    Dissolution & Purification

The irradiated target material is then dissolved and purified to isolate 111In. Enriched Cadmium can be reused for further plating.
